The principal and founder of Silver Lining Media is Tim A. Watson. As an executive, producer, director, and writer with extensive experience in all facets of television production, Watson possesses a unique combination of creative, management, and technical skills. He is comfortable and adept in all the major disciplines of video production; reality, live event, magazine format, scripted entertainment, as well as branded social media.

Along with orchestrating the large-scale 4k production of Chicago and Friends that was distributed across multiple platforms including theatre special event showings, Watson championed It’s Christmas All Over, a challenging immersive AR music special featuring the popular band The Goo Goo Dolls, an intensive interactive three-month project that premiered in theatres nationwide and now streaming on Apple Music.
After traveling for years with the NBC NASCAR and NBC Supercross live motorsports series, Watson transitioned to producing and editing the internationally renowned Olympic Games; the Return to series delivers 16 episodes for each host city games; Tokyo, Beijing, and Paris, also airing on NBC, as well as The World Games on CBS.
In 2022 Watson produced, wrote, and edited the acclaimed reality series Getting the Job Done, in collaboration with PBR, that chases the dreams and aspirations of the next generation of bull riders and airs on CBS. Also in the reality genre, Watson produced, wrote, and edited, the reality series Best Ranger Competition for three seasons for FOX. He was producer, director, and writer for the groundbreaking reality special The Amsoil Cup Challenge that aired on NBC, showcasing the most challenging racing in off road trophy trucks. He also co-produced with Red Bull the action sports reality series AWE that aired on OLN. Watson is executive producer and director on the reality program OC Rollergirls, currently in development.
As producer and writer for Mountain Sports Int’l., he guided the winter television series The North Face Park & Pipe Open Series, as well as Burton’s US Open, which aired on FOX. Watson shifted gears to produce and write the acclaimed TORC, The Off Road Championship, 21-episodes per season for multiple years, delivering both live streaming and broadcast programming. And 2024 was his 10th season producing the live streaming concert event Farm Aid, featuring Willie Nelson, Dave Matthews, John Mellencamp, Neil Young, Sheryl Crow, and of course Willie Nelson.
On the brand and social media front, Watson developed and produced the engaging Live the Halo Way marketing campaign, spiking impressions and views for the Los Angeles Angels Facebook™ and Instagram™ audience. He also created and edited original content for NASCAR Digital,including the fan favorite REVERSE, hosted by Steve LeTarte. The TORC racing series was also live streamed on Facebook Live and Youtube.
Previously, Watson was brought in as Vice President of Program Development and Production at the vanguard streaming network MEN7.tv. One of the first broadband providers of strictly high-definition content, and as executive producer and creator, he ran their most lauded series: DNA of Sport, Beyond the List, AWE, and The Wild Side. He was also responsible for designing and supervising the programming schedule for this groundbreaking network. As executive in charge, Watson guided the branded one-hour television series The MEN7 Show, which aired on ION.
Additionally, as Vice President of Production and Program Development at Bennett Productions, Watson oversaw all aspects of their impressive high-definition broadcast facility. From single camera docu-reality style television series to multi-camera live special events, he supervised a variety of projects, creating and producing high-definition content for ABC, NBC, Versus, PBS, and AXS. Under his guidance, Bennett Productions expanded their scope of influence, creating separate divisions for music, post-production, and media distribution under the newly formed Bennett Group.
Watson began his career as a producer and writer at American Sports Network, creating and producing original content for the ESPN Networks. He also co-developed and produced the internationally renowned brands Fitness Universe Pageant, Fitness America Pageant, and Musclemania. Using his experience, Watson launched his own successful production company focusing on music videos, EPK’s, and commercial projects.
Born and raised in Southern California, Watson attended Pepperdine University's School of Film and Television Production. Upon graduation, Watson was offered and accepted a position with Broadcast Arts, a music video and commercial production house in New York City. He has two Emmy™ awards, multiple Telly™ awards, and currently resides in Huntington Beach, California with his wife Kimberly.

The latest projects include producing and writing Chicago & Friends, a concert and documentary special featuring guest artists Robin Thicke and Steve Vai, currently streaming on Amazon Prime and airing on PBS. Producing, writing and editing the PBR Reality Series Getting the Job Done, airing on CBS. Producing and editing the Paris Olympics on NBC, also branded content for NASCAR Digital Productions. And just completed 37 hours live broadcast over 4 days on the History Channel for Barrett-Jackson collector car auctions. He is currently in development with the OC Rollergirls reality series, as well as other sponsor branded programming.
